Dentures, want some?
What is up with today's youth? The lack of respect for adults is unreal. I can't believe my ears these days the way the teens (oh, and younger) talk, using foul language. It's not even just hiding it when their away from their parents ear-shot either. They're using it at their parents and not just here and there it's like it's part of their regular vocabulary. I'm not immune to this problem either, I also have a mouthy teen who for some reason thinks this is OK. I have no idea why because I have clearly taught him differently. I myself have no clue where the big turn around came from, maybe because I was apart of Generation X which really wasn't all that long ago, but I can't remember us being this disrespectful and nasty. I will have to say with honesty that I wasn't the best teen, I did push boundaries and do things I shouldn't have but a full lack of respect towards my parents or any other adult for that matter was pretty much unheard of. I would be willing to bet we would've been a generation of toothless teens if we had been this way because we knew our parents would have hauled off and socked us clean in the mouth, at least I knew mine would have. Starting to wonder if the world needs to get back to that, I guess if we did we would probably put most orthodontists out of business, but hey the denture makers today would be rolling in cash!
